Mint-Hill-Ortho-Jared

Dr. Jared Little

Dr. Jared grew up in Michigan where he attended college and dental school at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!). He escaped the Michigan winters and moved to San Francisco, California for his orthodontic specialty training, focusing on making beautiful smiles and perfect bites with braces and clear aligners for patients of all ages – Winning him a national Invisalign case competition the year he finished residency!

After completing his orthodontic residency, Dr. Jared ventured to Charlotte, North Carolina, where he fell in love with the beautiful weather, fun car culture, and his wife, Caroline. Since 2018, Dr. Jared leverages meticulous attention-to-detail, the latest technology, and an artistic eye to create smiles across the entire Charlotte-Metro area.

When not straightening things out at the office, Dr. Jared can be found golfing, cheering on the Panthers, working on cars and bikes, or at any motorsports event he can find.

Megan

Meet Megan

Insurance and Financial Coordinator

Megan is our hyper-organized front office extraordinaire and local guide. Megan was born and raised right here in Mint Hill. When she isn’t straightening things out at the office, she enjoys spending time with family and going to the beach with her daughter. Megan’s best fun fact has to do with her obsession with cups. She loves cups of all kinds! Megan is so excited to be on the Mint Hill Ortho team and make her hometown smile!

Meet Christina

Front Office Coordinator

Christina is our warm, kind smile, welcoming you into the office. Born and raised in Concord, North Carolina, she loves spending time with family and friends. We could not help but smile when she said, “The 30-minute drive is absolutely worth it to be a part of the Mint Hill Orthodontics team.” When she’s not straightening things out in the office, Christina loves shopping, discovering new coffee shops with friends, and being outdoors.

Alyssa

Meet Alyssa

Clinical Assistant

Alyssa is our “small but mighty,” always-smiling, outdoors-loving Clinical Assistant. Born and raised in Matthews, North Carolina, this local loves guiding patients through their smile journeys and achieving their dream smile! Upon graduating from the Orthodontic Program at Lake Norman Dental Assisting School, Alyssa began Making Mint Hill Smile at MHO, where she uses her artistic eye to perfect grins every day. When she’s not in the office, Alyssa loves hiking, camping, kayaking, painting, dancing, and photography.
Julia

Meet Julia

Clinical Assistant

Immediately after graduating the Dental Assisting program at CPCC Julia jumped right onto the ortho scene. She is passionate about assisting throughout the transformation to your perfect smile! Julia is a true Charlottean and lives here in Mint Hill with her husband Justin, son Henry, and dog Jamie. Outside of work she spends her time at the park, the library, working in the garden, or participating in all the local events!

Haven is an Adventurous soul with a deep love for the mountains and endless hiking trails. Thriving on road trips, making new friends wherever the journey takes her. Constantly seeking new experiences and embracing every opportunity to learn and grow.
Melanie

Meet Melanie

Clinical Assistant

Melanie is another one of our Mint Hill locals! She has lived here her whole life and loves the small town feeling, while also being close to the active city of Charlotte. Melanie loves spending time going on walks with her soon-to-be husband, playing tennis and serving the local church. Her main goal is to love the Lord and follow His will for her life.
 
Lauren-MintHill

Meet Lauren

Clinical Assistant

Lauren is excited to work alongside Dr. Jared taming smiles. Lauren has been working as a dental assistant since 2016, and loves to see the great outcomes of what orthodontic treatment achieves for patients. She also will put on rainbow color o-ties if you ask nicely. In her free time, Lauren likes to be outside tending to her garden and plants. One of her absolute favorite hobbies is reading. Last year she achieved her goal of reading over 100 books! If you need a recommendation, she’s got you.
Katie

Meet Katie

Clinical Assistant

Katie is our do-it-all super assistant and tooth mover extraordinaire. Raised in New London, North Carolina, this avid hiker, camper, and runner loves all things outdoors. Katie studied at the Kannapolis Dental Assisting Academy, where her passion for dentistry and patient care flourished! Katie’s favorite part of working in orthodontics is guiding patients through their treatment journey, watching their confidence and smiles come to life!
